Wisconsin Ice Age Trail

I don't remember the Ice Age Trail when I was in Wisconsin from 1973-1990, but it looks pretty interesting.

The trail, which was a road, was washed out with water. Not a huge problem. We hiked around Tillman Ravine, but somehow missed it. We'll get it next time.

The Life of Birds

David Attenborough is awesome. The Life Of Birds, is an awesome show. In episode 6 he shows how a bunch of birds dive bomb and poop on a raven to chase it away and get it off the idea of eating their young chicks.

I fell in love with birding when I was in Ecuador. I went to a cloud forest bird refuge, and saw the most amazing birds in the world, and met a lot of interesting birders.

Back in Jamaica Estates, the most exciting thing I would see is a cardinal. In Chicago, I just saw LGBs, little grey birds.

Hiking in nature, you might see a bird. Just another amazing slice of the rich world in nature. I was showing my son the drawing of Audubon the other day. I'm trying to educate him about the world of art, because of his own creative aspirations.
